Meet Moorooduc Estate
Founded in the early 1980s by Richard and Jill McIntyre, Moorooduc Estate is one of the Mornington Peninsula’s pioneering wineries. The family is still at the heart of it, with grapegrowing and winemaking led by Richard McIntyre and Jeremy Magyar, and Kate McIntyre MW also involved.
The wines come in four ranges. Devil Bend Creek is fresh and made for easy, early drinking. Estate is the clearest expression of the Moorooduc style. The Single Vineyard wines (Robinson and McIntyre) each show the character of one site. Experimental is where the winemakers play and push boundaries, from Pinot Gris on skins to the whole bunch Magic Stalks Shiraz.
